STUART, FL. April 29, 2021 - Did you know walking is associated with lower mortality and better longevity, mental health, and cognitive functioning, as well as lower risk of some types of cancer?
This year Linical Americas and more than 50 of its employees nationwide will help lead the fight against cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society CEOs Against Cancer® Fit2BeCancerFree CEOs Challenge.
Staying fit can help reduce your cancer risk. To help you stay healthy, the Society is hosting a national step tracking challenge. CEOs and executives around the country will step up at work, inspiring thousands of colleagues to get active in the fight against cancer.
There will be a CEO Challenge and Three Week Employee Challenge. Both challenges begin April 29. Recognition will be shared via ACS’ CEO Twitter and LinkedIn page as well as the Top 3 CEO winners will have the opportunity for a personal virtual chat with the Society’s new CEO.
There are more than 500 members of the American Cancer Society CEOs Against Cancer program who represent a powerful network that includes the most prominent names in business today. Members bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to prevent, treat, and cure this disease, which costs U.S. employers $225.8 billion each year.
